LOCALITY WORKERS

Empowering communities to care, our Locality Workers operate within every town, village and community in Angus.

What we do

Our locality workers help third sector groups and organisations, whatever their size, to grow and thrive. We offer support and guidance, connect groups and create networks, foster collaboration, and nurture and encourage volunteering.

Locality workers are based in each of the specific areas, enabling them to have a unique insight into local communities, networks and organisations.  This enables them to effectively support local community groups and organisations whilst offering effective signposting into services, support and volunteering opportunities for the general public.

They work collaboratively with Angus Health and Social Care Partnership to support wider engagement of Angus citizens affected by health and social care issues and those who find engagement with public authorities difficult.
