What is Intergenerational Befriending?

Intergenerational activities are social engagements and interactions, bringing together younger and older generations for a common purpose. They build on the strengths that different generations have to offer, nurture understanding, mutual respect and challenge ageism. Voluntary Action Angus are currently looking for volunteers aged 12-25, to help out at social cafes in sheltered housing across Angus.
