Volunteers’ Week, taking place nationally from 1–7 June, is a wonderful opportunity to shine a light on the incredible people who give their time to support our communities.

This year, Voluntary Action Angus is thrilled to join the celebrations by hosting the Heart of the Community Awards—an event dedicated to honouring the outstanding contributions of volunteers and groups across Angus.

What happens next?

A huge thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination! The process now moves to our independent external judging panel, who will review the inspiring stories of our Individual, Youth, and Group/Organisation nominees.

We’ll be in touch with nominees and the wider community soon to announce our finalists and celebrate the winners!
