World Mental Health Day
10th October 2022
Angus Mental Health and Wellbeing Network (AMHAWN) is working together to promote World Mental Health Day on Monday 10th October 2022.
This year’s theme is ‘Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority’. Mental health problems exist in our lives, families, workplaces, and communities, and can have an impact on everyone, particularly because of Covid, and with the current cost-of-living crisis.
World Mental Health Day is a chance to talk about mental health in general, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to talk about things and get help if you are struggling.
Voluntary Action Angus (VAA) will be attending the ‘Bite & Blether’ in Arbroath, Old and Abbey Church from 11:15am-1pm on Monday 10th October.
We will also be at the Montrose Sports Centre, Marine Avenue from 2pm-3:30pm on Monday 10th October. We will be there alongside other organisations to greet those who are taking part in the organised walk (arranged by Healthy Steps Angus and BE ACTIVE… live well).
There will be a range of services available at both events to provide information and support about all aspects of mental health, so why not come along for a cuppa and a blether!
AMHAWN have created a range of activities and events that will be taking place in your local area throughout the week, find out more here: https://bit.ly/3CjiUtQ
