Our Policy Forum members volunteer their time to help influence transport policy in Scotland.

Organisation aims and objectives

We are Scotland’s alliance for sustainable transport. We campaign for walking, cycling and public transport to be the easiest and most affordable options for everyone. Our diverse membership brings together public, private and third sector organisations.

Restrictions:

  • Younger applicants especially welcome as the majority of our current policy forum members are 50+yrs and we would like to broaden the diversity within our team.
  • Experience required: Knowledge in transport policy and related fields. Particularly public finance and/or economic appraisal. Excellent communication skills.
  • Travel details: Home-based meetings on Zoom approximately four times per year with opportunity to attend occasional in-person meetings in Edinburgh.
  • Minimum age: 18

  • Expenses paid: Yes
  • Expenses details: Any out of pocket travel expenses for occasional in-person meetings can be reimbursed.
