Scottish Recovery Network

A Chance for Change & Updates

The latest Scottish Recovery Network newsletter is out! Any promotion to your networks and across your comms platforms is greatly appreciated. The whole newsletter is available via this link.

A Chance for Change
The refresh of the Scottish Government’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy is underway. Scottish Recovery Network gathered feedback from people with lived experience of mental health challenges and front-line practitioners on what they want to see from the refreshed strategy. Read the report or summary report here.

Making engagement more meaningful
Over 100 people have shared their invaluable experiences, energy and insights via the Scottish Recovery Network ‘What makes engagement meaningful?’ survey. This has been added to learning from the project so far and a nifty infographic has been created to share feedback and keep this important conversation going

Mental Health Week – call for content
The theme for Mental Health Week 2022 (9-15 May) is Loneliness. Throughout the week on social media, we will be sharing examples of mental health and wellbeing groups, projects and initiatives that connect people. We want to give a shout out to all the great grassroots work happening in communities across the country whether online or face-to-face. If you would like to take part and highlight the fantastic work you or groups in your area are doing then drop me (Christine Muir Christine.Muir@scottishrecovery.net) a couple of lines about your project, a link to more info and an image (images without text are better).
