The Youth Volunteering Innovation Project (YouthVIP) began in 2018 as part of the development of the National Volunteering Framework. Scottish Government commissioned ProjectScotland and Young Scot to work together to establish a national youth volunteering design team, made up of young people from across Scotland. This team put together recommendations aiming to support the young people of Scotland have equal opportunity to engage in meaningful volunteering opportunities.
Now ProjectScotland, Young Scot, and YouthLink Scotland are working in consortium to support the implementation of these recommendations.
We are working towards a future where all young people can contribute to their communities through well supported and meaningful volunteer opportunities.
