Dundee and Angus ADHD Support Group

New Self-Referal Pathway and Groups

As of this month, we have changed our referral pathway to ensure that all referrals reach us as quickly and effectively as possible. We are therefore asking professionals/services to help any families they know, who have a child with ADHD, to complete the new SELF REFERRAL option on our website.

Anyone who visits our website will clearly see all the different types of support we offer, including our advice and support service, youth groups and parent support groups. But I would also like to draw your attention specifically to two of our support options as we currently have free capacity.

IMPACT Courses
This is a six-week course where children/young people diagnosed with ADHD meet to learn about their ADHD and hear about strategies which will help with the challenges they face – while parents meet together to learn about how ADHD impacts their child and how they can best support them.

Thursday Night Youth Groups
In addition to our Tuesday evening youth group which is now for young people aged 12 – 18, we have now started a Thursday evening group for children aged 5 – 11. This is an important age for children to feel socially included and accepted. These groups run in our Arbroath premises from 5.30 – 7.30pm weekly. Both the groups are for children diagnosed with ADHD.
