Angus Violence Against Women
16 Days of Action Opening Event
Thursday 25th November 2021 10am – 12 noon via MS Teams
Angus Violence Against Women Partnership (AVAWP) will be hosting an online session on the first day of 16 Days of Action. The session will open our events for 16 days and explore the Angus Domestic Abuse Multi-Agency Good Practice Guidance.
Guest speaker Ryan Hart will be sharing his lived experience of being a child of domestic abuse and how this impacted his upbringing and his family. Ryan and his brother Luke raise awareness of domestic abuse after their father murdered their mother and sister. More information on their journey can be found on their website.
This is a great learning opportunity to hear a powerful account from a victim of domestic abuse. A previous interview with Luke and Ryan is available to watch here.
