Meeting the needs of Angus people is our priority. VAA is totally committed to ensuring all people can become involved in volunteering, support local communities and families to access volunteering and for people to become involved in a wide range of activities which is good for your health and good for communities, GP practices, parents, community leaders and anyone interested can help their community and people to do a vast range of activities, also secure befriending and voluntary transport services.
Voluntary Action Angus Provides a voluntary transport service and plays host to a fleet of 6 vehicles including:-
- 16 seater Renault Master mini bus
- 6 seater Renault Traffic crew van
- Fiat Doblo Wheelchair accessible car
- Honda Jazz 5 door car
- 2 Nissan Leaf 5 door fully electric cars
These vehicles are used by volunteers to support people who face challenges in using public transport and do not have access to other means of transportation. If you are isolated, volunteer driving could offer you support in allowing you to attend important meetings and appointments.
