‘Fundamentals’ photographic exhibition on the themes of a) how your mental health feels and b) what helps your mental health

The topics are: A. How your mental health feels and B. What helps your mental health, and the deadline is for us to receive printed or digital files by 18th August 2019 for ‘fundamentals’ photographic exhibition (leaving us 3 weeks to arrange for printing, and to frame and mount the photos, and also to curate the exhibition, prepare information leaflet, possibly a booklet etc).  Anyone who is interested in volunteering to help with the preparations is encouraged to get in touch.

At least 1 photograph will be exhibited by every person or group participating in ‘fundamentals’.    Any format of photography is welcomed – mobile phone, polaroids, 35mm film or digital.  Early submission of work is encouraged.

We have also included a category for young people up until their 19th birthday (on the same themes).

We will get some printed up for distribution once I’m back from annual leave (11th June).

We have a provisional venue for 10th September to 10th October, and we also have interest from a further venue to include the first weekend in November.

As with Angus Creative Minds: A Celebration of Creativity we won’t know what’s submitted until some time from now, but we welcome early contact from any organisation who may be interested in hosting the exhibition in due course.
